Browse your blueprints as folders, with tabs that work like VS Code's

Your blueprints now show as folders in the sidebar, tabs stop piling up as you click around, and you can rename a page by clicking its title.

New

Folders in the sidebar

Each collection is a folder you can open and close, with its groups as folders inside. Hover a folder to add a blueprint or open its table. When you open a page, the sidebar opens the right folders and highlights it. The workbench →

Tabs that don't pile up

Clicking from page to page reuses one tab, shown in italics. Double-click it, or start editing, to keep it open. Each tab has an icon for what it holds. For a new tab every time, turn off Enable preview in Preferences. The workbench →

Edit a title right on the page

Click a title or a summary to change it in place. A page with no summary offers Generate with AI to write one. Reading, Editor, Source →

Properties that hold several values

A property can now hold a set of named values (an Object), for tools that write data back into your files. It needs eidos_version: 5.6.0. Properties →

Improved

Easier tables

In a collection with groups, the group is now a column instead of rows folded under headings. When you select rows, the action bar sits at the bottom of the window instead of covering them.

Easier settings

Preferences has a sidebar and a search, like VS Code's settings. The Vocabulary has a page of its own, and the Health Check groups problems by file.

Changed

Warnings for properties the framework doesn't know

Add each one to the framework or remove it. To turn the warning off, use Warn on unknown properties in the Health Check's settings. eidos check →

Search is ⌘P and commands are ⇧⌘P

The other shortcut choices are gone. You can still change both under Hot keys.

Fixed

Task notes that locked up, and comments that showed twice

When the hidden markers around a section of a file got doubled, its notes could no longer be edited and a fix could write its comments in a second time. The Health Check now reports a file like that, and Eidos won't write into it until the markers are fixed, so the damage no longer spreads.
